The StreamBreaker is based on Halo Wars 2 Mastodon as an exercise for me to stick to the art style of my favorite games. I did some new textures while playing around a bit with substance painter. I had fun just experimenting and seeing what looked good for this vehicle including a classic tank camo look and old rusted version that still packs quite a punch.
I made everything from this model based on the reference images (Halo Wars 2), geometry, UV, materials, textures and rendering. I started with the overall model in Maya, cleaned up the UVs as well as adding basic materials. I then continued with Substance painter to add more detail with materials and normal maps and proceeded with the final render on Maya.
